Job summary

Kenney Industries in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Press Brake Setup Operator to set up and run jobs independently. The role requires reading engineering prints, selecting tooling, aligning dies, and handling a variety of materials from steel to aluminum.

You will collaborate with cutting, welding, and quality teams to maintain tight tolerances. The position offers steady full-time hours with a shift from 6am to 3pm, Monday through Thursday, and 6am to 11am on Friday, plus

• 3+ years of hands-on press brake setup.
• CNC press brake experience.
• Ability to work out bend sequences and spot when a part can't be formed as drawn.
• Solid shop math and measuring skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up press brakes: choose and install tooling, align dies, set backgauges, and enter or edit programs and offsets.
• Form steel, stainless, and aluminum parts across a range of thicknesses.

• Adjust for springback and material variation to hold tolerance.

Kenney Industries has been building parts for demanding customers since 1968. We're an ISO 9001-certified contract manufacturer with about 45 people doing CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly. We're looking for an experienced press brake operator who can set up and run jobs on their own.

What you'll do

• Read engineering prints, including bend callouts, flat patterns, and GD&T
• Set up press brakes: choose and install tooling, align dies, set backgauges, and enter or edit programs and offsets
