Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems in Batavia, Ohio is seeking an experienced Fabrication Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate press brake equipment to bend sheet metal and form components used in electrical enclosures, reading blueprints and work orders.

The ideal candidate has press brake experience, excellent measurement and blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to inspect parts and ensure tolerances.

Qualifications

• Blueprints reading and interpretation required.
• Strong measurement and inspection of parts to tolerances.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior press brake experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment per drawings and work orders.
• Read blueprints, fabrication drawings, bend diagrams and specs.
• Select tooling and program/adjust machine settings for accurate bends.
• Measure and inspect parts using tapes, calipers, protractors, angle gauges.
• Perform first-piece inspections and maintain quality.
