Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of press brake operation or sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience with CNC controls and fabrication equipment setup.
• Basic math, including fractions; experience with precision measuring tools.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 30–50 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate CNC or manual press brake equipment.
• Install punches, dies, and tooling for each job.
• Load CNC programs and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Read drawings, work orders, and bend specs to determine production.
• Feed and position sheet metal; run bend sequences.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, protractors.
• Ensure dimensions and angles meet specifications; maintain safety and cleanliness.
