SURGE Staffing seeks a reliable Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Johnstown, OH. You will set up and operate press brake machinery, read blueprints, and produce parts to exact specifications.

This role requires attention to detail, safe working habits, and willingness to learn new tooling and processes. On 2nd or 3rd shift, you will handle measuring parts with calipers and gauges, maintain quality records, and support other manufacturing tasks after training.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or machine operator experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust press brake machinery with proper tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to meet specs.
• Work with steel, aluminum, and formed metal components.
• Inspect parts using calipers and gauges to ensure quality.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and report issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area per OSHA rules.
• Record production and quality data accurately.
