Randstad USA is seeking a Precision Press Brake Operator for our Fort Worth area metal fabrication facility. You will setup and operate press brakes, read blueprints, verify nesting, and monitor quality to meet tight tolerances in a fast-paced shop environment.

This full-time, on-site role requires 1+ year experience with Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf or similar machines, standing work, and lifting up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of press brake operation experience with Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf or similar equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use handheld measuring tools.
• English required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Locate and deliver correct material to the work center.
• Ensure machine is functioning properly and nesting program matches print.
• Verify nesting programs and print-to-work-order alignment.
• Correct gas, speed, and consumables usage as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and report issues promptly.

Precision Press Brake Operator

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76131

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 / hr (Depending on Experience) + $1 2nd shift differential

The Opportunity A top-tier metal fabrication facility in Mesquite is seeking a motivated Precision Press Brake Operator to join our forming department. What You'll Do

• Setup & Operations: Verify correct raw material delivery, ensure proper nesting programs match work orders, and configure machine dies for precise metal bending.
• Precision Forming: Operate industrial press brakes to form metal stock while meeting tight structural, aesthetic, and tolerance requirements.
• Quality Control: Read prints, verify nesting matches, and utilize handheld measuring devices to ensure first-pass quality.
• Workflow Management: Accurately project completion times, stage finished parts properly, and immediately report machine issues to leadership.
• Shop Safety: Keep work areas clean and adhere strictly to shop safety rules and PPE protocols.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of press brake operation experience using machinery such as Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf, or similar industrial equipment.
• Technical Skills: General knowledge of plate bending operations, ability to indicate vises, and full literacy in reading blueprints and handheld measuring tools.
• Language Abilities: English is required; Billinguality in Spanish is a plus.
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 100 lbs in a dynamic shop environment exposed to standard noise and dust.

Responsibilities

• Ensure nesting program matches print with work order
• Ensure that the correct gas, speed, and consumables are applied correctly.
• Accurately project completion of work orders at work center
• Complete assignments on time and correctly
• Ensure jobs are staged correctly after completion
• Continually maintain a clean working environment
• Notify the Supervisor immediately of any problems or issues with machine
• May perform other duties as assigned

The essential functions of this role include:

• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
