Job summary

ACP, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Press Brake Operator I for the 2nd shift to support our fabrication team. You will operate brake presses, stamping presses and PEM, ensuring parts meet quality standards and blueprint specifications.

Requires a high school diploma and a solid work history; prior press or fabrication experience helps but is not required as training is provided. We offer a 4/10 schedule, monthly bonus potential, and a strong benefits package.

WHAT DOES AN ACP, INC. Press Brake Operator DO? Operation of the brake press, stamping presses and/or PEM.

This position demands an understanding of the basic operation of a press brake, the mechanical properties of metals, inspection of parts prior to releasing to finished container, using measurement equipment, documenting results, and blueprint reading in performing; and other duties as assigned.

Requires: HS graduate or equivalent and a solid work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Previous related manufacturing, press or press brake experience, helpful, but not required, as will provide training.
