Job summary

ACP, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Press Brake Operator to support our high-speed fabrication of metal components for restaurant ovens. You will operate brake presses and PEM equipment, inspect parts, measure with standard tools, document results, and read blueprints.

Prior factory experience helps, but training is provided. We offer a 4/10 schedule from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, a competitive benefits package starting after hire, and a monthly bonus program along with

WHAT DOES AN ACP, INC. Press Brake Operator DO?

Operation of the brake press, stamping presses and/or PEM.

This position demands an understanding of the basic operation of a press brake, the mechanical properties of metals, inspection of parts prior to releasing to finished container, using measurement equipment, documenting results, and blueprint reading in performing; and other duties as assigned.

Requires: HS graduate or equivalent and a solid work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Previous related manufacturing, press or press brake experience, helpful, but not required, as will provide training.
