Job summary

Kratos Industries, LLC in Colorado is seeking a Press Brake Operator for the 3rd shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM). This 36-hour week uses Amada HRB press brakes to form parts from sheet metal, with pay between $33.00 and $36.00 per hour depending on experience and shift differential.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of manufacturing or press brake experience, can read and follow product plans, and perform basic measurements.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate press brake controls.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret product plans.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Amada HRB press brake to form parts from sheet metal.
• Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brakes per product plans and production schedules.
• Ensures sufficient raw materials are available.
• Measures and aligns materials for use.
• Inspects parts for conformance to quality specs.
• Performs routine maintenance on press brakes.
• Maintains clean work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

WORK HOURS - 6:00AM - 6:30PM - 36 hours benefits eligible

PAY RATE - $33.00 - $36.00hr. depending on experience and shift differential pay available

Role And Responsibilities

• Operates Amada HRB Press Brake Machines to form parts from sheet metal/copper.
• Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brakes as required by product plans and production schedules.
• Ensures that there are sufficient raw materials available.
• Measures and aligns materials to be used.
• Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Performs routine maintenance on the press brakes.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press break controls.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.
• Basic computer and math skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to operate the press brake machines.
• Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• Day and Night shift are available

Experience

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Press Brake Operator: 1 year (Preferred)
