Job summary

Smith Personnel is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our Fort Worth team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating mechanical and CNC press brake machines to form steel and aluminum parts according to specifications.

Training on the 1st shift — 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM — precedes the 2nd shift, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience, for Fort Worth, TX 76110.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of press brake operation experience.
• Experience setting up and forming steel and aluminum parts.
• Ability to read and use measuring tools (tape, calipers, protractors).
• Ability to work independently and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mechanical and CNC press brake machines.
• Form steel and aluminum parts of varying sizes and thicknesses.
• Read and interpret specifications and measurements accurately.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and protractors.
• Ensure parts are formed accurately and meet quality specifications.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
