Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Press Brake Operator for their 2nd Shift at the Pinckneyville, IL location. Core hours are Monday–Friday, 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. The hourly rate is $22.26 with a shift differential. Successful candidates will run press brake, measure workpieces, and inspect for defects.

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Press Brake Operator – 2nd Shift at our Pinckneyville, IL location. Core hours are Monday‑Friday, 3:30p.m. – 12:00a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.26 per hour with a $0.40 per hour shift differential.

What you’ll do:

• Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.
• Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
• Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log.
• Read work orders to determine specifications.
• Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools.
• Install, align punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines using gauges, shims, and hand tools.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior press brake operating experience.
• Prior assembly experience.
• Prior experience working in a fast‑paced environment.

Position Success Criteria:

• Must be able to obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift safely.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
