Kloeckner Metals Corporation in Lancaster, SC is seeking a Press Brake Operator for 1st shift. You will set up, program, and operate a press brake, ensuring safety and efficiency while meeting quality specifications.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to read work orders, with a typical shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overtime may be available to support production goals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Equipment Preparation: Prepare production equipment for operation by making necessary setup adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers
• Quality Assurance: Maintain quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspections, completing production control charts, analyzing data, and making equipment adjustments as needed
• Training: Assist in training others for production job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures and best practices
• Machine Operation: Solve production process problems, make equipment adjustments, and report production and quality data
• Operational Maintenance: Follow policies and procedures to maintain production operations, including managing equipment, raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods
• Preventative Maintenance: Ensure the proper operation of equipment by adhering to preventative maintenance policies and procedures
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Team Collaboration: Contribute to the team effort by achieving related results, cooperating with team members, and accepting re-assignments as directed by supervisors

Job Summary

Processes quality products safely and efficiently by setting up, operating and performing simple programming of a press brake.

• 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with availability to work overtime as needed.
