Zing Recruiting is hiring a Press Brake Machine Operator for our Oakland, NJ facility. You will set up and run Press Brake equipment, read blueprints, and inspect parts to ensure quality in a busy shop. Shift is 1st, Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional overtime and some Saturdays.

It’s a contract-to-hire role at $18.00/hour, with Oracle used for work orders and inventory updates. Experience with calipers, protractors, and measuring tools is required, and forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of Press Brake experience in a machine shop.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using calipers, protractors, and other measuring instruments.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 lbs; overtime and some Saturdays may be needed.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate Press Brake machinery according to work orders and engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, protractors, and other precision measuring tools.
• Make machine adjustments to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine and program issues as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Accurately report completed work orders and inventory in Oracle.
• Maintain tooling and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
