Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machinery to bend and form metal components per drawings.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machine settings.
• Select and install appropriate tooling for each job and manage changeovers.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with calipers, protractors, tape measures, squares.
• Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety standards.
• Document production data and maintain records.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating press brake machines and a solid understanding of metal fabrication processes. This position requires strong technical skills, precision, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machinery to bend and form metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine appropriate machine settings and fabrication methods.
• Select and install appropriate tooling for each job, ensuring accuracy during set-up and changeovers.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, tape measures, and squares to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Make minor machine adjustments as needed and troubleshoot basic mechanical or programming issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards at all times.
• Document production data and maintain accurate records of work completed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must have experience operating CNC press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Physical Requirements:
