Ergomet Inc Precision Sheet Metal Mfg Co in Ward Hill, MA is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our precision-focused team. You will set up, program, and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal to exact specifications, reading blueprints and work orders to ensure part accuracy.

You will select tooling, perform in-process quality checks, maintain tight tolerances, and keep a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating a press brake in metal fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, angle finders).
• Knowledge of tooling setup, dies, and back gauge programming.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced shop.

• Perform in-process quality checks using calipers, protractors, and other measuring instruments
• Maintain tight tolerances and adhere to precision sheet metal fabrication standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any equipment issues promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with shop safety protocols
