Job summary

Hennig is seeking an experienced Bender/Press Brake Operator to set up and run bending machinery, read blueprints, adjust tooling, and ensure first-piece quality. You will perform inspections and troubleshoot to maintain production standards.

This full-time position requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand through shifts, and operate forklift or overhead cranes as a plus. A clean, safe workstation and adherence to procedures are expected for continuous manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years' experience as a Bender/Press Brake Operator.
• Ability to read computerized blueprints and drawings.
• Able to bend on galvanized, steel, aluminum and stainless.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bending machine.
• Change tooling, upload jobs into machine interface, and perform first piece inspection.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and read measuring equipment.

• Responsible for both machine set up and operation of Bending Machine
• Changing tooling, computer skills, uploading jobs into machine interface, first piece inspection, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance
• Ability to read computerized blueprints and drawings
• Ability to perform precision forming, bending and folding
• Ability to use and read measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, protractor, and tape measure
• Must be able to add and subtract
• Able to bend on a variety of metals, galvanized, Steel, Aluminum and Stainless

Requirements

• Requires lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
• At least 1 years' experience as a Bender/Press Brake Operator
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Experience operating Forklift and Overhead Cranes a plus.
• Must keep a clean and safe working station
• Must be willing to submit and pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
