Job summary

Hennig is hiring for a part-time Bender/Press Brake Operator. The role involves setting up and operating a bending machine, changing tooling, and entering jobs via the machine interface.

You will perform first piece inspection, troubleshoot issues, and conduct preventative maintenance, reading blueprints and working with various metals. The position requires reading gauges and using micrometers, calipers, protractor and tape measure, with the ability to stand entire shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Bender/Press Brake Operator.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for both machine set up and operation of Bending Machine.
• Changing tooling and uploading jobs into the machine interface; first piece inspection.
• Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Read computerized blueprints and drawings; perform precision forming, bending and folding.
• Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, protractor, and tape measure.
• Must bend on various metals including galvanized steel, aluminum and stainless.

Day and Night Shift positions available with a 15% night shift premium.

• Responsible for both machine set up and operation of Bending Machine
• Changing tooling, computer skills, uploading jobs into machine interface, first piece inspection, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance
• Ability to read computerized blueprints and drawings
• Ability to perform precision forming, bending and folding
• Ability to use and read measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, protractor, and tape measure
• Must be able to add and subtract
• Able to bend on a variety of metals, galvanized, Steel, Aluminum and Stainless

Requirements

• Requires lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
• At least 1 years’ experience as a Bender/Press Brake Operator
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Experience operating Forklift and Overhead Cranes a plus.
• Must keep a clean and safe working station
• Must be willing to submit and pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
