Lingo Staffing is hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator for a Roanoke manufacturing partner. Shift: Mon-Thu, 5:45a-4:15p; contract-to-perm; pay $19/hour. Location: Roanoke, VA. This role requires reading blueprints, die setup, and CNC press brake operation in a fast-paced shop.

Candidates must lift up to 50 lbs, use measuring tools, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment. The position offers steady hours, competitive pay, and long-term growth with potential conversion.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and engineering drawings is required.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and run CNC press brake
• Identify different thickness and grade material to ensure proper die set up
• Use measurement devices such as tape measures, calipers, angle finders
• Safe operation of overhead crane to move material from pallets to the press brake table
• Properly transact work orders to capture labor and costs
• Maintaina clean and safe work environment for self and coworkers

Requirements:

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Basic math skills and computer proficiency
• Experience using tools in a manufacturing or production setting
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
