Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to fabricate, bend, and shape metal sheets and components according to precise specifications. This role requires a commitment to safety, accuracy, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, or punch metal parts as per drawings and specifications.
· Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machine settings and fabrication methods.
· Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using a tape measure.
· Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure the machine is operating optimally.
· Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
· Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow safe work practices at all times.
· Document work performed, including production counts and machine performance data, in logs or digital systems.
· Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production schedules are met.
· Provide feedback on ways to improve efficiency or resolve operational issues.

Requirements
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· At least 1-2 years of experience operating press brake machines or similar metal fabrication equipment preferred.
· Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
· Ability to overt decimals and fractions accurately.
· Strong understanding of metal properties, machine capabilities, and fabrication techniques.
· Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control procedures.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
· Manual dexterity and attention to detail for handling small and complex parts.
