Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Brake Press Operator for our Hobart, IN facility on the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM). You will set up and operate press brakes and related equipment to shape parts according to fabrication plans, reading blueprints and ensuring correct dimensions.

Ideal candidates read blueprints, measure with a tape, perform basic maintenance, and inspect parts for conformance. A high school diploma and at least 2 years’ related experience are preferred; crane and forklift

Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Able to read blueprints and tape measures.
  • Knowledge of standard and metric measurements.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brakes and related equipment to shape materials per fabrication plans.
  • Read blueprints and verify dimensions during production.
  • Inspect parts against specifications and document conformity.
  • Follow job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints to produce required forms.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure safe operation in a manufacturing environment.
