Job Summary

Daifuku is the nation’s leading independent, U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems. With hundreds of engineers in-house, the company designs, manufactures, integrates, and installs the full spectrum of intra-logistics solutions.

The Brake Press Operator uses press brakes and miscellaneous equipment to create, shape, and customize materials into a variety of forms dictated by Fabrication plans. Reads and interprets detailed and complex instructions to produce the desired forms.

Position: Full Time, 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 1:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Following the Safety policy, including PPE
• Setting up and operating press brakes and other equipment on a variety of parts of all shapes and sizes
• Checking products against standards for conformance to specifications
• Following specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints
• Observing machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
• Performing minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces
• Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
