Reading Truck in Reading, PA is seeking a skilled operator to set up and run fabrication equipment, including a press brake, laser, and presses, to precisely form and process new materials.

You will perform drilling, tapping, sanding and punch work, verify first-article quality, and communicate run status and changeovers with teammates. We offer strong growth in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating industrial machinery.
• Comfort with basic math and computers for measurements, settings, and documentation.
• Proficiency using a tape measure to confirm critical dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication equipment including press brake, laser, and presses to precisely form and process new materials.
• Carry out core operations such as drilling, tapping, sanding, and operating a punch press.
• Perform machine setups per job requirements and verify first-article quality before proceeding.
• Communicate status of runs, handoffs, and changeovers with co-workers; flag defects to leadership immediately.
• Maintain, test, and repair systems across electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines to keep production on track.
