Job summary

Reading Truck Group in Reading, PA is seeking a 3rd shift Machine Operator to operate brake, laser and press equipment. You will set up machines, monitor runs and maintain quality by reporting defects.

The role includes a $1.00 increase after 90 days and new improved pay rates with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and paid training. Reading Truck Group values safety and teamwork and offers growth opportunities.

How You Will Make an Impact

Our Machine Operators will operate Brake, Laser, Presses. Operates machine requiring a high grade of skill to change the shape or condition of new materials. Maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, Hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Perform set up of machine as required
• Communicate with co-workers regarding runs and inspect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee
• Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: drilling, tapping, and sanding, must be able to operate a press break and punch.
