Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC press brake operator in Columbus, OH. You will independently set up and run CNC press brakes, read engineering drawings, and ensure components meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

The role requires precise measurement with calipers, micrometers, and gauges, plus strong problem-solving and teamwork to support various fabrication operations across the shop. Safety and quality are top priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience performing complete machine setups and operation of CNC press brakes.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Ability to hold close tolerances and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Experience making machine adjustments and troubleshooting minor process issues.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment.
• Manufacturing experience in a high-mix production setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with quality management systems is a plus.

Job Details

Shifts: 7:00am - 3:30pm OR 3:15pm - 1:45am

Pay Range: $20 - $35 per hour depending on experience/skills

What You'll Do

Qualifications

Additional Manufacturing Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand, pneumatic, and power tools
• Experience with assembly, fabrication, or related manufacturing activities
• Ability to learn multiple production processes and equipment
• Experience with material handling equipment is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout a production shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift materials weighing up to 75 pounds when required
