Florida International University is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join the central Media and Executive Communications team and support the university president's social media presence.

The role involves creating and posting content, monitoring interactions, and developing campaigns in collaboration with the Director of Communications. This temporary position operates on a standard work schedule and is eligible for related benefits under FIU policies.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree; OR four (4) years of office or related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
• Positions under National Forensic Science Technology Center will require Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or military experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and execute the day-to-day social media responsibilities for the university president, including creating and posting content, monitoring, and responding to comments and interactions, and creating and implementing social media campaigns.
• Develop current and potential social media properties, spearheads new initiatives, and participates in presidential social media efforts.
• Work with the Director of Communications, with collaboration from the Social Media Assistant Director, in creating campaigns, managing the content calendar, and scheduling content according to university priorities for the university's President.
• Provide reports on content performance on a regular basis and shares findings with the Director of Communications
