Job summary

JAE Consulting Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a President to serve as the senior operating leader and execution partner to the founders.

You will own the internal operating model end-to-end, translating strategy into results while progressively removing the founders from day-to-day decisions. Ideal candidates bring 8–12+ years in operations leadership, deep inventory/product experience, and a proven track record of scaling founder-led brands.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in operations leadership (VP) or 12–15+ years with enterprise-wide accountability.
• Experience scaling founder-led or PE-backed consumer brands from $5–20M toward $50M+.
• Deep experience in inventory- and product-led businesses.
• Strong financial intuition and operating judgment.
• Clear, direct communicator with internal and external credibility.
• Comfortable making cash-sensitive decisions with incomplete data.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Operating Leadership across product, inventory, wholesale, DTC, retail, and finance.
• Own the full internal operating system and translate strategy into priorities and operating plans.
• Serve as primary execution partner to founders.
• Lead omnichannel inventory planning and allocation with balance of demand, cash constraints, and MOQs.
• Shift the business from reactive selling to intentional buying.
