Job summary

Missouri Baptist Children's Home seeks a President and CEO to oversee MBCH and its affiliates, reporting to the Board of Trustees. This executive leads program services, finances, marketing and fund development, and sets the strategic direction for MBCH's mission.

The successful candidate will have at least five years of senior management experience in Christian ministry or related organizations, a master’s degree, and active involvement with a Southern Baptist church affiliated with the

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in management of personnel and programs like MBCH or in Christian ministry.
• Master’s degree or higher in social work, counseling, divinity, or a closely related field.
• Be an active member of a Southern Baptist Church cooperating and affiliated with the Missouri Baptist Convention.

Responsibilities

• Relationship with the Board of Trustees; works with MBCH and board to ensure effective operations and reports at board meetings.
• Serves as Chief Executive Officer; provides leadership in strategic planning, oversees MBCH systems and activities including programs, finances, marketing and fund development.
• Other duties as assigned by the Board of Trustees.
