Job description

Aegis Worldwide is assisting a client in the Chicagoland area (Northwest suburbs) in finding their next President & CEO of their organization. The ideal candidate has the following experience:

1. 10-20+ years of experience in machine building or OEM manufacturing.
2. 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership position, such as CEO or President.
3. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field.
4. Experience in machine building and OEM companies.
5. Strong ability to develop and implement big-picture strategies.
6. Leadership experience managing long-tenure employees and acting as a change agent in organizational culture.
7. Experience overseeing all aspects of operations, including manufacturing, packaging, financial performance, business development, and organizational growth.
8. Experience with small-sized businesses, ideally with revenues of $10-100 million and around 45 employees, including P&L management for a business unit of similar size. Candidates outside this range may be considered for the right fit.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working with private equity groups or during investment transitions.
2. Experience with international expansion initiatives.
3. Experience relocating warehouses or managing logistics transitions.
4. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a related advanced degree.
5. Experience introducing new product lines to an organization.
6. Proven sales leadership, including working directly with sales teams to generate and increase revenue.
