Job summary

Relate Search, in partnership with a well-established mechanical contracting company, seeks a President to lead the business from Oklahoma City with broader Tulsa activity. You will drive growth, profitability, and organizational capability while strengthening execution and accountability across the executive team.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within HVAC, plumbing, mechanical contracting, or related construction industry.
• Track record of leading and growing a business with P&L responsibility.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and plumbing construction and/or service.

• Develop and execute a growth strategy across HVAC and plumbing construction and service businesses, focusing on sustainable, profitable expansion.

• Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability across the organization while partnering with the leadership team to strengthen execution.
• Identify opportunities to expand the company’s market presence and revenue base while maintaining a focus on customer relationships, project quality, and financial performance.

Relate Search has partnered with a well-established mechanical contracting company in its search for a President to lead the business through its next phase of growth. Based in Oklahoma City and serving a broader market that includes significant activity in Tulsa, the company is focused on HVAC and plumbing projects as well as service and maintenance. The President will provide overall leadership for the business, strengthen accountability and execution, develop the organization, and help drive profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall business with accountability for growth, profitability, operational performance, and organizational effectiveness.
• Develop and execute a growth strategy across the company’s HVAC and plumbing construction and service businesses, with a focus on sustainable, profitable expansion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the business community, including customers, contractors, developers, owners, and other industry stakeholders.
• Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability across the organization while partnering with the leadership team to strengthen execution.
• Identify opportunities to expand the company’s market presence and revenue base while maintaining a strong focus on customer relationships, project quality, and financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience within the HVAC, plumbing, mechanical contracting, or related construction industry.
• Track record of leading and growing a business, with responsibility for financial performance, operations, people, and customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and plumbing construction and/or service, including the dynamics of project-based and recurring-revenue businesses.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and generate business within the commercial construction and mechanical contracting community.
• Entrepreneurial, self-sufficient leadership style with the ability to establish accountability, develop teams, and operate effectively in a growth-oriented environment.
