Remote Work Eligibility

If residing in Virginia, you will have the flexibility to work remotely while tackling challenging tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Authorization review and entry for HCBS authorizations using Virginia-specific criteria.
2. Review of state-specific documents required for HCBS services.
3. Communication with HCBS providers.
4. Gathering clinical information to assess and expedite care needs.
5. Consulting with Care Managers and Medical Directors on complex cases.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in VA.
• At least 3 years of RN experience in an acute setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, navigating Windows, Outlook, and conducting internet searches.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HCBS authorization.
• Utilization management, prior authorization, and case management experience.
• Managed care experience.
• Knowledge of ICUE and CAT Launchpad.

Additional Information

Remote employees must adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. The hourly rate ranges from $28.61 to $56.06, depending on various factors. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock options, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility.
