Job summary

ARMADA INC. seeks a Preservation Estimator to forecast labor and material costs for diverse projects, interpreting specifications, pricing schedules, and historical data.

You will review blueprints, estimates, and documentation to produce accurate cost projections, considering materials, labor, equipment, and transportation.

This full-time role reports to the Estimating Manager and is based at office/shipyard sites, with a competitive $70k-$85k salary and DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the field or related area is helpful but not required.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Gathers details and compiles data to estimate all production costs according to specifications.
• Reviews blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to formulate cost estimates.
• Considers raw materials, labor, equipment, tools, and transportation for estimates.
• Helps determine necessary resources for projects based on cost estimates and budgetary constraints.
• Reviews estimates as requested and analyzes established standards for cost reductions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
