The State of Alaska is seeking a Criminal Justice Technician 2 for the Anchorage Presentence Unit, to work with the Alaska Court System and local agencies. The role focuses on administrative and paraprofessional duties to support presentence reports and research for sentencing.

Responsibilities include handling calls, obtaining legal documents, notifying victims, updating records, and drafting portions of reports while ensuring thorough documentation in the agency database.

• Obtain legal paperwork and police reports from multiple agencies.
• Send victim notifications in preparation for presentence reports.
• Update documents and phone lists; maintain accurate records.
• Discuss victim notification rights with victims as needed.
• Draft portions of presentence reports and document efforts in the database.
