Job summary

Providence Medical Group is seeking a Prescription Renewal Representative to handle renewal requests and support patients across the care team.

You will work under Pharmacy Services, acting as a liaison among patients, physicians and pharmacies, delivering exceptional customer service and upholding established protocols to ensure patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or NHA) required at hire.
• Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.

Job description

The Prescription Renewal Representative is responsible for handling all aspects of processing prescription renewal requests. The Prescription Renewal Representative works under the supervision of pharmacy services and working within established protocols and/or as an agent of for the provider authorizing prescription refills. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing patients with exceptional customer service and serving as the liaison between patients, physicians and pharmacies.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Upon hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or
• Upon hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician - National Health career Association.
• 2 yearsPharmacy Technician experience.
