Job summary

Felton Institute is seeking a Prescribing Practitioner to join the TCWRT, delivering psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and harm‑reduction based care within Alameda County. The role supports AB 109 Clients across CORE Oakland, AN other sites, with a focus on bridging to community providers.

The position is part‑time (20 hours/week), on‑site in Oakland with telehealth as appropriate, reporting to the Medical Director and coordinating with ACPD and DPOs.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active California medical license (MD/DO) or a PMHNP/PA with prescribing authority.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for AB 109 Clients.
• Provide bridge psychiatric medication management and prescribing.
• Offer clinical consultation to TCWRT staff and coordinate with ACPD partners.
• Participate in case planning, care coordination, and discharge planning.
• Maintain thorough documentation within Felton Institute systems.
