Camelot Kids Preschool in Los Angeles is seeking two qualified Preschool Teachers to join our team. We value teamwork, a passion for working with children, and knowledge of best practices in preschool education to engage learners and earn their trust.

Responsibilities include developing creative programs, using stories and activities, observing children, guiding social and cognitive growth, and maintaining a safe, well-organized classroom with regular parent communication.

Qualifications

• Must meet CDSS state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
• Up to date immunizations required, medical and religious exemptions as permitted by law.
• Fingerprinted/Live-Scan Background Check Required.
• Mandated Reporter and Sexual Harassment Certifications
• Strong knowledge of educational techniques and methods for teaching young children
• School is open 8am - 5:00pm, hourly schedule somewhere in that range.

Responsabilités

• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children
• Employ a variety of educational techniques to teach children
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
