University Parents Nursery School in Los Angeles is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to lead a class of 18‑month to 2‑year‑olds, assessing their learning level and designing instruction to meet group and individual needs. We nurture infants to preschoolers through thoughtful interactions.

You will collaborate with two other teachers and parent volunteers, creating an engaging classroom and supporting each child's growth with creativity and care.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 units of ECE coursework.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
• Two years of professional experience in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting.
• Problem-solving and mediation skills; AA/BA in ECE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of young children.
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills.
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel.
• Assess students' skills and performance to ensure developmental milestones are met.
• Support and guide children through potty-training with age-appropriate strategies and positive reinforcement.
• Ensure a safe and clean learning environment by following essential procedures and guidelines.
