Job summary

Child Care Resources Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to lead the 3- and 4-year-old classroom at Pre-K Preparatory Learning Academy. You will craft meaningful, hands-on learning experiences across literacy, STEAM, art, music, movement, and outdoor activities.

The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, organized, and excited about helping young children grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing, structured setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass all required background checks and fingerprinting.
• Must meet Georgia childcare employment and training requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Dependable, punctual, and maintain consistent attendance.
• Patient, nurturing, energetic, and comfortable working with three- and four-year-old children.
• Follow lesson plans, classroom routines, and directions from the Lead Teacher and administration.
• Use positive guidance and appropriate classroom-management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging classroom.
• Assist with daily lessons, learning centers, small-group activities, STEAM, art, music, movement, and outdoor learning.
• Interact with children through conversation, reading, play, and hands-on learning.
• Help children develop independence, confidence, social skills, and school-readiness.
• Provide active supervision and stay attentive to children at all times.
• Assist with classroom routines, meals, rest time, toileting, and handwashing.
• Observe children and share developmental or behavioral information with the Lead Teacher.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and welcoming classroom.
• Communicate professionally with children, families, coworkers, and administration.
• Collaborate with the center team and participate in family events.
