An established industry player in early childhood education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher for part-time afternoons. This role involves creating a nurturing environment that celebrates children's natural curiosity through a Reggio-inspired curriculum. Teachers will engage with children in a supportive community, fostering their development while promoting creativity and social interactions. If you are enthusiastic about teaching and eager to grow within a collaborative team, this opportunity offers a fulfilling path in a rewarding educational setting.
The Temple Shir Tikva Early Learning Center fosters a lifelong love of learning by celebrating each child’s natural sense of discovery and wonder through a Reggio inspired curriculum, and a rich nature-based focus. Our teachers create experiences on the adjacent campgrounds and nurture children’s innate gifts of curiosity by promoting safe risk-taking, creativity, and social interactions. Guided by Jewish culture and values (including universal character traits like kindness, respect, gratitude, teamwork, etc.), our learners develop their inner skills and also learn how to be part of a community.
The Early Learning Center welcomes staff from diverse backgrounds. If you are a team player who enjoys working collaboratively with your co-teachers, children, and their families, The ELC is the right school for you. We take great pride in the relationships we foster with each of our teachers and care about your growth. We are a tight-knit community of teachers, who support each other. This position will be supervised by Stephanie Lerner, the ELC Director, who is eager to support educators’ personal and professional growth.
