Job summary

Love and Learn Childcare Academy is seeking a Preschool Teacher to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for preschoolers. You will support social and emotional growth, maintain a safe classroom, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent routines.

Daily duties include preparing materials, communicating with families, observing progress, and ensuring health and licensing standards are met, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development for preschool/early childhood classrooms.
• Knowledge or training in early childhood education and child development.
• Strong communication skills with children, families and team members.
• Familiarity with Kindergarten readiness concepts and transitions to elementary school.
• Degree, diploma or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom and follow licensing requirements.
• Patient, reliable and collaborative team player.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain; pass background checks.

Responsibilities
