Qualifications

• Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development for preschool/early childhood classrooms.
• Knowledge or training in early childhood education and child development.
• Strong communication skills with children, families and team members.
• Familiarity with Kindergarten readiness concepts and transitions to elementary school.
• Degree, diploma or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom and follow licensing requirements.
• Patient, reliable and collaborative team player.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain; pass background checks.

Role Description The Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site role. This role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, supporting social and emotional development, and creating a safe, engaging classroom environment for preschool-age children. The Preschool Teacher will implement curriculum activities, facilitate play-based learning, observe and document children's progress, and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Daily responsibilities include communicating with families about children's experiences, collaborating with colleagues to maintain consistent routines, and ensuring all health, safety, and licensing standards are met. The role also includes preparing materials, maintaining classroom organization, and participating in staff meetings and professional development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for preschool and early childhood classrooms.
• Knowledge and training in Early Childhood Education, including child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
• Strong Communication skills for working with children, families, and team members.
• Experience or familiarity with Kindergarten readiness concepts and supporting transitions to elementary school.
• Relevant education such as a degree, diploma, or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment and follow childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
• Patience, reliability, and a collaborative approach to working in a team-based childcare setting.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, and ability to meet background check requirements as mandated by local regulations.
