Job summary

DTDMIDTN, Inc. is hiring a dedicated preschool aide to support early childhood classrooms in Smyrna, TN. You will help care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years, assist with meals, rest, toileting, and outdoor play, and help with curriculum implementation.

You will participate in songs and storytelling to create a joyful learning environment. The role emphasizes safety, warmth, and daily collaboration with lead teachers.

Qualifications

• At least six months of experience in a preschool is strongly preferred.
• Degree or Certification in a childhood education related field is recommended but not required.
• Must currently be local

Responsibilities

• Care and well-being of children including toileting, meals, rest time and outdoor play.
• Close supervision of children during activities and transitions.
• Implement early childhood curriculum as directed by teachers and curriculum coordinators.
• Engage children with songs, stories and interactive activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Communicate with families as needed about daily activities and progress.
