Job summary

Learn And Play Montessori School is hiring a full-time teacher at the Irvington Campus to support a Montessori + STEM curriculum and nurture children's social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development.

You will create a safe, nurturing environment, partner with families and center staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, growth and engagement, and help children learn through play and meaningful relationships.

Qualifications

• 12 core ECE Units & Infant/toddler course completed.
• Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
• Willingness to change diapers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, growth and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
• Implement Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.

Pay Range: $23.00- $29.00 per hour
