The Goddard School located at 1111 Key Highway East Baltimore, MD 21230 is seeking a passionate teacher to join our team. We prioritize our teachers and provide a nurturing environment with a developmentally appropriate curriculum using Wonder of Learning®.

Lead daily activities, inspire young minds and collaborate with a supportive team. Qualifications include a High School diploma (Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred) and CDA/90 Hour credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in ECE preferred.
• 90 Hour Preschool Certifications preferred.
• CDA preferred; state pre-service training completed is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage with young children.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom.
• Family Communication: Maintain open communication with families about progress.
• Health and Safety: Supervise children ensuring well-being and licensing compliance.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training to enhance teaching skills.
• Assessment and Documentation: Observe and document children’s learning for families.
• Team Collaboration: Support Resource Teachers and foster a positive environment.
• Behavior Guidance: Model positive guidance strategies for social-emotional growth.
