Nana's Place in Charlotte, NC is seeking an energetic Preschool Teacher to lead a class through the school year, assess students' current levels, and design instruction to meet their needs.

You will develop engaging lessons, teach early reading and math, foster social and emotional growth, utilize diverse teaching methods, and maintain active communication with parents and school staff to monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in early childhood education or CDA required.
• Strong understanding of child development and classroom management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and adherence to them.
• Problem-solving and mediation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum.
• Teach beginning reading and math skills.
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills.
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques.
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel.
