Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher in Westford, MA to support daily classroom operations and Cadence programs under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher.

This full-time role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing environment that supports children's physical, social, emotional, and behavioral needs, including those with IEPs, while building strong relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Follow safety procedures and care for children with care and dignity.
• Communicate effectively with families and colleagues in English.
• Meet state licensing qualifications for a teacher in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children are treated with dignity, respect, and care.
• Greet children and families daily and help establish professional, welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including IEPs.
• Support planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents as required.
• Assist in managing, documenting, and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Adhere to Cadence Education policies in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development, possibly outside regular hours.
