Cadence Education in Walpole, MA is seeking a Preschool Support Teacher to help implement our programs and create a safe, nurturing environment for young learners. You will support classroom routines and partner with families to foster curiosity and a love of learning.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, not required if state licensing is met.
• Must meet state minimum education and experience requirements.
• Experience in early childhood or group care is preferred.
• Must meet all state licensing qualifications for a Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment treating children with dignity, respect, and care.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist with individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including IEPs.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist in managing and documenting behavior according to policies.
• Participate in meetings, trainings and professional development.
