Job summary

Celebree School is seeking a Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing, stimulating learning environment for preschool children. You will help implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and support the growth of classroom Aides into Celebree Teachers.

You will work Monday through Friday, with shifts across morning, afternoon, and evening, and participate in building a collaborative, values-driven team focused on child development and family communication.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills; patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschoolers.
• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, valued and engaged in learning through play.
• Incorporate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy into daily routines.
• Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety of materials and play areas.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing progress and insights.
