Job summary

Celebree School™ Richmond is seeking a Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing, stimulating learning environment for preschool children. You will design engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that spark curiosity and support early literacy while modeling Celebree's values.

You will guide classroom aides, collaborate with families, and help foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere where children feel safe to explore and express themselves through play.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn through play.
• Integrate language-rich activities and early literacy into daily routines.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety of materials and play areas.
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and development.
