Preschool Teacher – Full-Time Position

St. John the Baptist Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to lead our three- and four-year-old classroom beginning in the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Highlights

• Teach a combined class of three- and four-year-olds. Depending on numbers, it is likely the classes will be split.
• Use a flexible curriculum with the freedom to tailor lessons to your students’ needs and interests.
• Incorporate our extensive library of rotating themed stations - such as cooking, space, camping, and more - to spark imagination and discovery.
• Integrate Catholic teachings into daily routines and play-based learning.
• Collaborate with a supportive teaching aide and our dedicated faculty team.
• Foster a classroom rooted in joy, faith, safety, and exploration.

Ideal Candidate

• Has experience teaching or working with preschool-aged children in a school, daycare, or parish setting.
• Holds a Professional Educator’s License, an Early Childhood Certificate, or a Bachelor’s degree in any field (teaching waiver can be granted and teacher training provided).
• Is a practicing Catholic who can naturally weave faith into all aspects of the school day.
• Brings patience, creativity, and a genuine love for little learners.
