The Learning Experience in Newark, DE is seeking an enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to help young children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. You will lead daily activities and implement the LEAP curriculum in a supportive classroom.

We value hands-on learning across literacy, math, science, art, and social-emotional development, with emphasis on positive guidance and family communication. Strong passion for early childhood education is a must.

Qualifications

• TECE 1 and TECE 2 required.
• Previous professional childcare, preschool, or early childhood education experience required.
• Preschool classroom experience strongly preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Patient, dependable, organized, and passionate about early childhood education.
• Must meet applicable Delaware licensing requirements for the assigned position.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily Preschool classroom activities and routines.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Create engaging early literacy, math, science, art, music, and movement experiences.
• Encourage independence, problem-solving, communication, and positive social interactions.
• Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and center leadership.
• Follow Delaware childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Pay: $17-$19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Newark is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Preschool Teacher who loves helping young children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our Preschool Teachers create engaging classroom experiences where children explore early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development through hands-on activities and meaningful interactions.
