Job summary

Catalyst is seeking a full-time teaching staff member in Anaheim to support planning and implementation of Catalyst's programming for children from infant to school age depending on the location. Teachers facilitate age-appropriate activities, support social-emotional development, and supervise children in a safe, healthy environment.

Responsibilities include creating engaging curricula, maintaining enriching learning environments, collaborating with fellow staff, and ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Education and permit requirements may vary by center and age group.
• Minimum 24 postsecondary semester units in ECE or 16 general education units plus AA in ECE or related field.
• Teacher Permit or higher issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
• 2 years of experience in a group care environment preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum supported by learning foundations connected to children's interests.
• Provide safe, healthy environments with supervision and positive interactions for all children.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to deliver high-quality programs and rich learning experiences.
• Support children’s social and emotional development and engage families and communities.
• Maintain documentation of lesson plans, portfolios, and anecdotal notes.
